Our Story

For over a decade, the team at CARNEVALE has partnered with community-driven organizations—like WMCAT, LaughFest, Gilda’s Club, YWCA, Grand Rapids Women’s Resource Center, Queens Botanical Garden, The Hip Hop Museum, and more—to provide low- and no-cost website services. We saw firsthand how powerful strategic tech support could be.

But to scale that impact—beyond what a software agency could sustain—CARNEVALE launched Tech Collaborative: a nonprofit built to deliver high-quality digital services, empower local talent, and serve more missions than ever could fit on a client roster.

Tech Collaborative exists to break down barriers—so nonprofits can harness technology to advance social good, and individuals with non-traditional backgrounds can access meaningful tech careers. We envision a world where:

Nika Marie Social Impact Scholarship

Nika Price was devoted to making her community more inclusive and equitable. After her untimely passing in 2022, we feel honored to carry forward her work through the Tech Collaborative by manifesting her vision. The Nika Marie Social Impact Scholarship aims to support students pursuing their dreams, ensuring that her spirit lives on through the achievements of future scholars.
